The ReThink Group acquires KeyPower Consultants in all-share deal
The ReThink Group, the resourcing and professional services provider, has acquired KeyPower Consultants (KPC), in an all-share deal.
KPC Consultants is an IT Global Solutions and Staffing Consultancy employing 25 people.
The KPC brand will be retained and the agency will continue to operate out of its main office in Southend, Essex, which will be headed-up by Dale Smith, one of the founders of the company.
The acquisition will take The ReThink Group's combined turnover to £35 million from 120 staff, and bring its total number of UK offices to five.
Jon Butterfield, Managing Director, The ReThink Group, comments: "This is the first acquisition for the Group and is a significant expansion for the business, which fits well with our growth strategy for 2008. It moves us into new vertical markets as well as broadening our geographical footprint."
Dale Smith, Managing Director of KPC, adds: "This deal has come at the right time for us. We have become part of a national group, but on a footing that incentivises us and gives us a stake in the overall success of the business. The KPC team is relishing being part of the ReThink success story."
